Watched first two seasons but not the third was it any good?

It was less satisfying if I’m totally honest but still essential viewing and a cut above 95% of what’s out there.

Not sure as it's "still in development". It's been changed up to become a limited TV series, so who knows?

They must have decided they can't drop things out to tell a good story.

I also enjoyed its new direction,but after season 2 i couldn't handle anymore.

Trying to be far too clever for its own good and proper up its own arse.

I love Star Trek but like you found this to be a bit too far off the usual trekie feel and as you pointed out a "Bit too clever".

Seeing as it's a CBS offering, I'm guessing at possibly a TV series. Agreed, though, it looks dreadful. Who can forget Bill Paxton's cameo in the original? "At least, do it for your country"!

Strange New Worlds isnt perfect,but,as much as is possible in todays society.....it captures some of the magic/feel of the original,and is far more enjoyable and watchable because of such.

Yeah, been looking forward to this one for a short while.

Personally speaking, De Armas is a great choice, but needed a touch more meat of her to look more convincing of 'Ms Monroe/ Norma Jean Baker'.
