wqalking from blackburn train station to ewood park is 1.6 miles , about 15-20 minutes , but walking from darwen to ewood park is 3 miles , about 45 minutes , could always get a bus from blackburn train station i suppose

It takes longer than 5 minutes to get from Darwen station to Ewood.

I'd say it's more like 40 mins.

Both Blackburn and Darwen stations are about an equal distance from the ground.

there no where near the same distance if your walking , 3 miles from darwen , 1.6 miles from blackburn , 40 minutes from darwen , 20 minutes from blackburn

Play it by ear then, nice sunny day take a couple of cans get off at darwen and stroll up, if its pissing down stay on the train to blackburn and get a bus.

no problem mate , it said 5 minutes from darwen on aa route planner , me being a daft twat didnt realise that was by car.

last time I went to Blackburn by train I went to Mill Hill. Thought that was the closest station
