Training ground is very open

Over the past few years there have been quite a few training bust ups reported by the press. Even though some of them have been minor and the sort of thing you would get in most training grounds the press always make a big deal out of them and I think its getting embarrassing for the club.

Looking at the Balotelli/Mancini bustup story today with the photos showing Bobby grabbing him have made me cringe with embarrassment.

So, my question is can we not build a big giant fence/wall around the training area in Carrington? Just do it quietly in the summer when the season is over.

Would it be a problem because of the boundry with the park?

Training ground should be open to all who want to watch. Just my opinion.

Agree 100% Can't see the harm in supporters (or media for that matter) getting a chance to see the players in practice. Training ground bust ups will always happen at any club and I don't see the point in buliding some kind of fortress to proctect players and managment.

Was a fence not put up a while ago hence the lack of photos in the press for ages. Seems like today we decided to use a pitch not covered by the fences so it was open. Most likely a light training session. Unfortunately today something happened and it was captured.

The press were on-sight with the clubs permission, that's what make the situation even worse "time and a place" springs to mind.

No publicity is bad publicity. Which football club is being talked about all day today? Whose website will be full of fresh faces having a look at City for the first time? This website has "TICKETS" and "SHOP" buttons. I reckon, today, City will earn more money than any other normal day. Was this latest spat/handbags/everyday occurrence at training a set up ? as a exit strategey for one or both ?.Just a thought

I would assume that the club have looked into erecting a higher fence, and were denied permission by the authorities.

And put 10,000 bolts through that baby is what I always say.

There are only a couple of spots where the press can get a view of what's happening, unfortunately it happen in one of those spot's.

Went down this morning for a mooch about i couldnt see a thing, all this public footpath thing i walked down it and just saw a lot of portacabins and what looks like a bit of a dumping ground for the groundsmen, you can see the hill thou.
