he will field an extremely weakened team, partly because of all the injuries. surely no more than five first pick players. Kompany is so important at the moment, I wouldn't use him... unless we had a new centrehalf in the squad by that time. and even then, I'd use that guy instead!

Just heard Strachans press conference saying he wouldn't play the two academy kids up front.
 
I wouldn't fall for Strachan's arguments. He'll get Marcus Bent in and Aliadiere will probably play

Better to play a team strong enough to win and avoid a replay

Utd have 3 games in 8 days so as bad if not worse for them. They play Leeds on Sunday. That's going to be a tough game
 
Roque's injured and the signs are he'll miss the Boro game. As well Stephen Ireland I'm led to believe but I don't know a lot about that one sorry.

Out for 2 weeks. Will miss the 1st leg of the semi too.
