Training started late today, they were deliberating over the pitches as I think the frost caught them out somewhat.
Training started with a session of handball where 2 teams throw the ball to each other but can only score with a header, this starts the session off nicely and gets them moving all over. The ball then goes on the ground and turns into the more recognisable 2/3 touch passing.
Onto some fitness work with Ivan before the group was split into 2 the main squad with Mancini and a few with Ivan. Noteable absentees were Tevez and Benjani, it was nice to see Adebayor, Toure, Lescott and Bridge all taking part in the session with Mancini.
A cold morning to watch had to leave early so will update with DH's report later.
Funniest thing this morning was De Jong he came out wearing the muffler type scarf they have, but instead of having it round his neck as per the norm he had it wrapped over his head and under his chin! Looked a right sight, we all thought he might have had toothache.
