In the past, when City have been at Wembley, we've driven in to Harrow and caught the Underground to the stadium. However, it's been a nightmare getting out to the motorway post-match.

If the game were to go to extra time and penalties, and allowing time for watching the trophy presentation and celebrations, should we win, will there still be trains running back to Watford?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

We park at Watford station £5 for the day 15 mins in to Wembley. Big pub the flag full of blues by the station

Train from Watford Junction is £5.90 return to Wembley Central. 23 minutes.
The Flag is a decent boozer too.

Wont be seeing me in the Flag this time or anywhere near Watford. Straight into Euston and up to Wembley Park for me for the east side

I assume Wembley Station is on the wrong side for us as well. Was thinking of getting train from Banbury to here. Is this route likely to be full of the Red Scouse?

City have east end - what matters is whether you're south-east (ideal for Wembley Stadium station) or north-east (better for Wembley Park). We tend to aim for Wembley Stadium (all the Chiltern line trains will be stopping) and it's just a question of where to leave the M40. Scouse will no doubt be on all routes; is that a problem?

Wembley Park Underground Station is a lot closer to the ground and you can get there on the Metropolitan line from Watford Underground Station in about 20 minutes.
