I confess I got invited into a box for the Barca / Rags semi final last year - Messi was amazing but the Rags won and I was really hating it - despite their being a few other blues in the box - just when I thought things coud not get any worse Paddy (bloody) Crerand turns up in the box to give it the big 'un. At this point I left and headed home. I really thought I could go along and watch the game, root for Barca and hope they would win but I found myself looking at all the Rags and just hating them - they were absolute morons -they were barracking Ronaldo throughout the game - for heavens sake.

i confess, i have been once, i only opted to go as it was free with work and we were in a box against porto this year, i cheered when porto scored and united super sell out surprised me when about 10 porto fans jumped up just infront of me haha, thats why they sell out. SCUM !!!

Just wait till tomorrow morning then ask him infront off fellow workers what was the match like. Wait for his pause then waffle and load off shite.

Sounds like a plan......

I've only ever been once for the derby where Keegan's inspired subs of the goat and bernarbia bought us level. If I remember correctly, Anelka bagged a late one which was chalked off for handball, which could of easily of been given by another ref!!

It was actually The Goat who put the disallowed 'goal' into the net. Anelka was adjudged to have handled prior to crossing to Shaun.

Only been to the swamp once, and that was for the England v Hungary game just before the 2006 world cup.Was in the Stretford End aswell.felt sick.never again.I wind my rag mates up loads though 'cos i tell them I've been to OT more times than they have. ;o)

Of course, thanks for the reminder, It was a close one though wasnt it?

It should have been allowed to stand. Just goes to show.... The refs were up to their dirty tricks back then, too!

I remember that - the ball brushed Anelka's hand (he didn't control it) and the ref did nothing until the ball hit the back of the net and then he blew up and gave a free kick - correct decision technically but the decision was well after the incident.

Me n me sis won tickets to the Swamp once, they were playing Derby and Kinklandze was playing and scored, although they lost 4-1!
i purposely wore blue jeans and a blue jumper, stayed sat down when United scored their goals and stood up and clapped the Derby goal!

i was 17 or so and my sister would have been 15 - brave or what!???

I also went to the Swamp for a derby that was bizarrely, actually at Maine Road once! I was only about 12 and me and me Dad had tickets for Maine Road but my Dad was really ill the morning of the game and couldnt take me and we couldnt find anyone else who could make it at such short notice, decided to ask a few mates and one of them (who was a Rag) said he wasnt allowed as his Mam thought he'd get battered, but him and his Dad were going to OT to watch it on a big screen and had a spare ticket! So i went to OT in my Sky/Navy Umbro City coat and quetly got excited when we scored the first - but i noticed there were about 50 City fans in the crowd of about 5,000! we went 2-1 down but Rolser equalised (the one where he pointed to his name on his back in front of A Ball!), this time i jumped up and cheered - but sat down quickly as i had a few coins and expeltives thrown at me! Then it all kicked off as Mickey Francis and all the Guvnors somehow got into OT and i felt a sense of pride at how brave/mental City fans are! But Giggs scored a winner near the end and a grown man of about 30 kicked me in the back of the head - what a ****!!!!! I suppose i was daft enough to go there in a City coat and cheer our goals, but even so i was only a fuckin 12 year old!

i'd go and sit in the home end just to support Arsenal, it's not as if the camera bearers will give you any shit.

Also my Grandad (a Blue) took my Dad (a Blue) and my uncle (a Rag) to the Swamp for a derby game in the 70's! my Dad would only have been about 13 or so and they stood in the Stretford End and City won 4-1! My Dad said he was too scared to celebrate but said my Grandad was jumping around like a madman! I think the 4th went in and Alan Oaks ran behind the net at the Stretford End waving to the Rags and then gave them all the V sign! My Dad said it was one of the best moments of his life!

Then as they were leaving the ground some lads who'd seen them in the ground went over and punched my uncle - the one who was actually a United fan - right in the nose! CLASSIC, haha!
