Threw his gloves down and stormed off, hope it was because we hadn't qualified.

He knows he had two glorious opportunities to equalise in Naples and probably blames himself for us not qualifying
One he hit straight at the keeper who knew nothing about it and the other a header which he planted straight over the bar.

It's not a trait as such but Lescott seems to be very underated by a lot of opposing fans. Same with Barry.

Maybe it's because his strengths (strong, quick interceptions, great tackles, defensive headers) are over in the blink of an eye, and not as obvious as his poor technique on the ball when he's passing out from the back. He isn't confident on the ball, and because of the way we play - passing around the back four, waiting for an out ball, this is really noticeable.

I've seen Clichy pull off some incredible feints when hes getting closed down, last night was one of the best made to hoof it and just set off straight past the Bayern player (can't remember who it was)

Also Aguero seems to be able to turn anyone, incredible pace that lad.

Each to their own. To me, that's a strange comment - he's been consistently good since the start I feel, improving all the time,and lately, has been getting better and better and better. Still only 30 and good for another couple of years yet. He is vastly underrated.

Very, very difficult to know who should be left out these days. No Milner for a week, and he's been fantastic of late.

Everyone I speak to thinks Lescott is slow but in my opinion he is quicker than the average centre back. Kompany's ability on the ball is under-rated.

Dzeko is an amazing passer of the ball, short and long, and shows that he wasn't bought for his heading ability.

GB must be, if not top, then among the leaders in the category of ''most improved player at the club'' this season. Very rarely puts a foot wrong and provides the perfect cover for Merlin to do his stuff. Keep up the good work Gaz.
