After such a disappointing transfer window, certainly after the experience of previous years, are we going to see a Robinho-style deadline day hive of madness and mayhem with several high-profile signings, taking everyone's breath away and giving Jason Manford more ammunition for City gags?

The way it is going the biggest worry for me is that we end up letting players go at the death such as - NDJ, AK , AJ , Kolo and then have no time to replace them and end up having a weaker squad than last year.

I guess city keep things in house now but the fact we were publicly in for Agger tells me we want a defender but nothing appears to be moving. I don't like all this last minute stuff we'll end up missing out or getting stuffed big time on price.

Dissapointing? I didn't know it had finished!

Stop flapping.

Expect from now till end of window to be pretty busy especially with loan signings.

Clubs who struggle early will feel the need to "do something" while they can before pressure on manager grows.

Happy Clappers are funny.

You telling me you wouldn't have found it disappointing if you knew at the end of last season that with 9 days to go until the window closes that the Champions would have only signed Rodwell?

It's ok to criticise the club, it doesn't make you a flapper.

This. I've never known a window like it on here. Spoilt brat-like demands, flapping, concerns....

I'm sure we still have the same players who won us the league. Anyone else who comes in will fit into that squad, with no major gelling required.

We aren't going to sign anyone else other than Sinclair IMO. And people who moan need their heads checking. We can't expect a big name signing every window with FFP, especially when no big names have left.

I will be disappointed if we do not sign a suitable back up to Kompany. Other than that, I'm ok as we are.

agree with this, we are thin there, is was the Rags undoing last year and I think Chelsea are very vulnerable if the lose Terry or Ivanovic for a long spell. We need quality cover at CB.

isnt Ivanovic a right back? Just asking like

these things tend to even themselves out so i think we will see 3 more signing before the end, although i dont expect any big names just cover for positions..

Having said that, i would like to us sign Agger..

Vinny looks like he could be injured at anytime and when he is not there Lescott is not the same player..

I personally think that we have done good business thus far bringing in Rodwell a young English International and getting big wage earner Adebayor of the books to help with FFP. I think if we can also off load RSC in this window it would of been a great success.

Agreed...........Crocky to Real Betis on a free tho methinks. Problem is tho if Dzeko and AJ are unhappy and moaning because there's not enuff football we need to move them on and replace with better.

We cant wait till the Hughes empire is dismantled before that happens

Probably a better centre half but does a very good job at full back - an excellent defensive option you might say.

And "better" will be happy to sit on the bench because....?

We made a bid for Agger, RVP and Hazard so I can see us still after a CB, Cf and winger also after De Rossi so a CM.

If De Jong leaves and Johnson then we definitely need replacements, Sinclair is one replacement.

Can see a lot going on in the next few days.

No we didn't

New CB and a creative midfielder even it is just someone like Pizarro who can do a job from the bench passes the ball to attackers not only back to defenders little bit creative etc and could be an option when Yaya is unavailable.

Sinclair will come instead of AJ.

Marwood have to work very hard these days. Hopefully no more after Soriano starts acting as new CEO.

If we don't add some significant strength to the squad and make it clear we are going to make the clearest intention of winning the Pl again, Marwood is for the chop. Mancini has been quite clear about who he wants or wanted in order to strengthen the team, and so far we've added Rodders. The problem always was getting shot of a fair bit of deadwood, but now Ade's gone . . . . . . .
