They're only letting him go to a team not competing for a CL place. Otherwise Begiristain would have jumped at the chance.

No need for anyone, we can't keep buying bench strength and then cry about not giving youth a chance at all. It has to be or the other. We already have 6 players we have bought in on the bench and so youth hardly get a chance. This has to be the year we try some out, Pep has some leeway this season being his first.

To buy an established striker to sit on the bench would be the worst thing we could do.
