Transfer investigation?

62 transfers being investigated, the vast majority involve Juventus

We are mentioned as we are linked to four of these transactions
What about the other 58! Who are the other parties?

And we all thought the Danilo/Cancelo was a FFP dodge, as was the Dias/Otamendi transfers

If it's a capital gains tax dodge on Cancelo, it would surely be Juve/Italian tax authorities that is where the dispute is, and City are not involved beyond having paid however much they paid?

Cancelo/Danilo is basically the most expensive, and therefore the most notable. Lots of internal Italian transfers, not all involving Juventus.

Looks like it's an Italian tax issue which is being addressed.

One thing to get anything in the spotlight is to have Man City to do it and the full media be all over it for months till it’s sorted! Wasn’t Juventus the first club to do one of the there deals?

The Cancelo/Danilo thing was obviously dodgy, it's just that we weren't sure how. It could easily have been cash+Danilo for Cancelo, but ended up being this convoluted transfer where we pay way more in exchange for them overpaying for Danilo. Not sure how that helps anyone, but there was obviously a reason for it. But obviously I'm shocked that Juventus would get involved in anything dodgy.

With the Dias/Otamendi one, I always felt it was more about accepting a lower offer while saving face for Benfica.

If they're looking at this, then they should be taking a look at some of Chelsea's deals over the years too. There's been some suspiciously high fees paid to them.

What about Liverpool. Brewster to Sheffield. Couple of players to Bournemouth . Suspiciously overpriced. And I have also found that Coutinho was vastly overpriced.
