after all he is born and bred man city a fine player who has proven himself should the club not try and keep home grown talent who is epl proven instead of spending millions on euro players who may not handle the league

Ireland has not got his head in gear apart from a few fleeting glimpses on the USA tour of what he used to be like. Under the new squad ruling we cannot afford the luxury to gamble that he will get his head back. A six month lone deal for him would be my option, so he gets the games. If after that time he hasn't performed its time to sell.
