pub on the main road 2 mins from the ground is away friendly.Nice typical east end cafe opposite,do a mean brekky.

Will be going in Kens Cafe first, then off to the Queens. How's everyone getting there? I'm on the 12.15 train from Piccadilly.

Any views on realistic time back to Euston after game? Game finishes 7.20 ish so with queues on tube etc, what train out of euston is everyone aiming at?

I left 2 mins before the end of the game last season, jogged to east ham tube. Tube to euston square, walked to euston station. Got on the train at around 8-20.

We stayed until final whistle and still made it back to Euston for about 8.30pm so don't expect to be any different this time.

-- Mon Oct 14, 2013 12:37 am --

How feasible is train travel for this? Last one to crewe is 9pm. Game finishes close to half seven. Be tight will it not?

As per other replies mate, it should be a problem. We had same times last year and got back to Euston for about 8.30. And stayed until final whistle as well. Others made it before us and got on a train around 8.25 - 8.30 ish. We were happy to be well in time for the 9pm.

There's was lots of talk last time about using the normal Upton Park station to get back or because of the queues there walking up to East Ham instead. We went for East Ham but seems we needn't have bothered as loads of blues said they got on no problem at Upton Park. Always queues there but well organised and move quickly.
