Trouble in the Ground

Thats exactly where i sit. Right next to the away fans, and while the majority of City fans just want to watch the game, sing for their team and have a bit of banter with the away fans, there are a lot of fans who just want to kick off all the time (especially when we loose).

I cant understand the mindless mentality of some of these bone heads. When Everton scored today a load of fans who dont even sit where i sit came running from the other side of block 117 just to jump over the net and kick off. One bloke even twatted a woman copper in the face today (although think it was by accident in all the skirmishing and what not).

we don't deserve any success with fans behaving like they have been recently
unbelievable. a small minority of fans allegedly behave badly and city don`t deserve any success!!! you are a total ****** .sod off then. i deserve to see my team win and 40+ 000 others do.you utter prat.

you know what i mean.
on second thoughts you probably don't.

still from your interpretation its good to know that you at least don't judge other teams based on the attitude or behaviour of their fans.

Can I ask how long you soft arses have been going to football matches for? Because if you think there is trouble at grounds these days you would have been terrified a few years ago. Typical new breed sky sports generation football fans, thats why the life has been sucked from the game...

I spent plenty of time in the 70s and 80s not being able to wear colours openly to away games and I'd prefer not to go back to those days and don't see why a couple of Everton kids should be set upon like that just because their team won. You'd think City fans would have learnt how to take defeat on the chin we've had enough fucking practice!

All I saw was people standing up and mouthing off - acting the big man as per usual

Absolutely agree. Cocky EFC fans? So what? That's for them to be cocky. Violence on or off the pitch is a disgrace and something which should not be tolerated by any right minded football fans. It's football. If people want to kick off, go find another sport. I have been to the last four city/EFC matches. I think we have not got a point from any of them. I have taken an EFC fan there and back, down the East Lancs, down to CoMS, and I've been miffed by the results and bloody annoyed often by the inadequacy of our own performance. I have yelled at the ref, berated our players, and the then current manager, but kick the crap out of the other teams' fans . . . . . . only for morons and the mentally deficient. It's a shame but as someone has already pointed out, every team has them. I wish they would go and support another team.

it is pretty worrying the lack of segregation sometimes between fans, there wasnt much today!!!]

and at the risk of sounding sexist, i feel really sorry for some of the stewards, i mean I saw a couple of young women, pretty small, and what are they supposed to do when they are the meat in an angry bloke sandwich

crazy really

I know a few girls who love it like that ;-)

Few of you lot need to get of your high horse. Everton surged into the singing area(wasn't 117 like somebody else mentioned)
113 i think it is. Stuff got lobbed which happens alot anyway but it was the scousers looking for the fight. Agree that fighting inside the ground shouldn't happen but i reckon half the people moaning in here are the passionless muppets that stay seated in the north stand, its not cricket ffs.

There was a lot of people looking for trouble outside COMS aswell (on both sides) which left a bitter taste in the mouth after an even more disappointing, bitter result to take. However, on the depressing walk down Ashton New rd a few Everton fans spoke to myself and the old man after the game (about the result, and how they hoped the transfer rumours about Jo wern't true!) and they were genuinely nice blokes and managed (for a short while!) to put the entire day into perspective, and actually made the boiling anger and frustration ease ever so slightly.

So contrary to what a few narrow minded, Stone Island jacket wearing numptys on here are claiming, Everton's fans are not entirely made up of violent scum.

Hope the club switches off the access cards of ALL the fans who were in the offending blocks.....for good.

Maybe the club'd be doing them a favor - but for those of us with kids who want to come to watch the blues I sincerely hope they all get banned for life....I NEVER want them in our ground again.

Shame - scum - lowlife Sh*t.

That's extremely unfair for those who go to watch a game but want to sing. Not everyone who sits around there is a twat. In fact it's only a minority. Which blocks are you talking about anyway?

its blocks 110/111
Ah, which one's got the most pricks in? I've bought into 110 from Boxing Day and I want to know what I've let myself in for ;P

you said you were on row p seat 230something???

well if thats the case you are further away from the away fans than me....i am seat 263, which is block 109/110, your seat is to the right of me, which is block 110/111

tbh mate, the more intelligent songs seem to come from our block, with most of the songs from block 110/111 being munchen related or restricted to "if you cant talk proper, etc"

thats a bit unfair...i'm in that block but wasnt involved with any of it

i also wear a stone island island coat

why not go the whole hog and ban my hoolie little ass ;p

Hahaha, no I agree with you there Shady, Graham99's post was... well f-ing stupid, talk about sweeping statements! And I know my post was generalising a bit, but I'm sure you get my point! You articulate, violent, piece of hooligan scum!
