Troy Deeney's Team of the Week 2024/25

He makes Arteta manager with the following comment "I give this to Mikel Arteta for the simple fact of so much pressure, so much expectation and no players really to pick from – dealing with more injuries again with Gabriel going off - I thought to come out of that game with Liverpool with a point was excellent."

Maybe Troy would have liked playing for Arteta as he fancies lying on his arse for 30 minutes each game faking injuries - lazy git.
Think this is the BBC's latest endorsement of Arsenal to counteract "evil City" ruining football by winning the PL five times on the bounce.
The BBC headline "Arsenal dig deep" sums up how they are perceived to be the major threat to City.
Why, at home to Liverpool are they given so much support from the BBC ?
Then Dippy Deeney gives Arteta the "manager of the week" award ?

He couldn’t even be arsed to separate Gabriel and Stones’s write up.

Not to mention the comment “he scored a hat trick in

You need to watch my YouTube channel on the covered bridges. My wife says it sends her to sleep!

It seems this footballing encyclopedia of knowledge is following on from Girth's musings.

Kova played just over a quarter of an hour, but did enough to be one of the league's best players, this weekend.

Oh, he scored, and Neverton were runningoutofsteam. That's enough for Deeney the Dunce.

The licence fee....the gift that keeps on giving
