Troy Deeney's Team of the Week 2025 / 26

Brilliant writing as ever:

Rico Lewis (Manchester City): I have actually picked both full-backs from Manchester City. I thought Lewis and Rayan Ait-Nouri were excellent. They offered a lot going forward and were defensively solid. Lewis offered that wonderful assist to Erling Haaland.

Rayan Ait-Nouri (Manchester City): Ait-Nouri handled the game excellently against his old club. He was defensively solid and offered a load going forward. They have managed to find that left-back solution, which they have struggled with for a long time.

What? He changed the order and changed the word 'lot' to 'load.'

But at least he had a few City players in the team this time.

Word of the week: excellent
Appearances: 9

Someone buy him a thesaurus.

Is the useless  twit not sharing his pearls of widom, this season?
Woah. Stop. Stop right there. He is the one voice that speaks for all true football fans.
If the meejah are to be believed, the rags were magnificent and only narrowly failed to achieve a magnificent win over fellow title challengers.

So how come no rag fucker was picked by the Mighty Troy in his team of the week ?

Troy Deeney. Legend.

Amazed he didn’t pick the entire United team, given it was the greatest performance by a losing team in the history of competitive sport.
United can beat any team in the world. Amorim said so. Apart from of course Arsenal in Stoke 2.0 guise giving their worst performance for a year.

But apart from that, Rags are back.

The cunts in the media are desperate. The way the sad cunts have reported that moderately decent performance like it was Brazil 1970, or even better, City 2019, is fucking comical. The cunts are desperate for a revival.

They will get it right eventually. Stands perfectly to reason. But not quite yet is my guess.

Mental how shit they are. Given the natural advantages they enjoy, and what they’ve spent. Actually incredible how shit they are.

Oh, and I should never miss an opportunity to say that Wayne Rooney is a fat, granny-shagging ****.

Yeah, I saw that earlier.

Although Gigi dominated his box and made one world-class save, he didn’t really have a lot to do.
He made a very unusual save early on when he palmed the ball down to himself and another where he came out and blocked it with his body.
I wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of one of his punches.
