Reijnders' goal against Wolves reminded me of a goal from City's past, but I can't remember which one - it's driving me mad.
Everything happens in almost exactly the same way for both goals.
The ball is played through for a run down the left channel, the goalscorer shoots with the inside of his left foot just as the defender lunges in to tackle, the ball goes into the far corner, and the goalscorer falls forwards onto both his hands before picking himself back up to celebrate.
The goal is scored in the net to the right of the TV camera, as though it's pointing towards the South Stand at the Etihad. Although, part of me thinks the goal was either scored away from home or at Maine Road...
I just can't remember which specific goal it is. Any help?
