I spent years trying to find out what that was and only figured it out about 6 months ago. It's a brilliant atmosphere builder, even if we did nick it from the Chicago Bulls :)

I remember at Maine Road, pre match was always pretty loud and pretty full, people chatting away, some oasis stuff coming out the PA system. Then right here right now would hit and everyone would stop and stand up in anticipation within seconds. Then they'd drag that extendable tunnel tube thing out and the teams would follow.

Miss those days. Never felt like we achieved that pre match anticipation at the Etihad unless it was a really big game.

this 100%. when I was 10/11/ I was mascot against Leeds at home (they be at us 4-0) and I still remember standing in the tunnel with Haaland and right here right now come one.. goosebumps
