tunes help

I updated my itunes but now when i rip a cd it goes into...user account- my music-itunes as opposed to the external hard drive file that I previously had set it up to go into, that is still where my library is, it just doesn't seem to rip into there automatically now....any idea how to rectify this?

I don't use iTunes sorry, but surely under preferences there's a file option for ripping?

not totally sure, but

Edit>Preferences>Advanced

then change the iTunes Media Folder Location to whatever folder you want
