Tunnel bust-up after derby

Cheers everyone, no need to worry then looks like

Next derby should be a hell of a lot fun though. Probably waiting for the guard of honor at the point though.

This literally comes down to them being sore losers, and I love it.

That’s come straight from united’s pr department. I don’t usually go for over indulgent theories of conspiracies everywhere, but the story that piece is trying to convey doesn’t add up. Mourinho was the aggressor. He could have got someone else to go and have a word; someone less confrontational. He came into our territory and tried to bark orders. What the fuck else does anyone expect the reaction of young athletes after a game to be to that type of posturing?
It was almost certainly a cynical and deliberate act that he knew would get a reaction.
  • You've just seen your team play a fairly spineless game and be well beaten by your PL rivals, who weren't even really close to their best.
  • You've been bleating about the other team being divers all week yet have seen one of your own players booked for a clear dive.
  • You've heard your own fans call for some attacking football and heard the opposition fans mock you.
  • You've see a flare thrown at an opposition player.
  • Your lingering title hopes, which depended on a win here, have gone off a cliff.
  • You've seen a centre forward you paid at least £75m for provide the assists for the opposition goals.
  • You're well practiced in the dark acts of deflection anyway.
So what better than a post-match bust-up, manufactured by your provocative and unnecessary action, to deflect attention from your problems.

And herein lies the difference between the eye-gouger and baconface. The latter would have used that match and our post-match celebrations to fire up his players in the right way and ensure they didn't suffer another embarrassing defeat. He would have stiffened their backbones and made sure he got a positive reaction from it. Instead, Mourinho has shown himself to be weak, only interested in protecting his own ego and has quite possibly disrupted his players' mental attitudes, at the expense of trying to cover up his and his team's deficiencies.

Mareen redirects the press from his woeful management performance as strategist/tactician and his team's equally poor player performances.
Job done.

No point in crying over spilt milk I guess.

FROM THE GUARDIAN

Whether it’s gouging opposition coaches in the eye from behind, publicly humiliating a doctor for refusing to illegally encroach on the pitch to treat a player he’s ordered to feign knack or disparaging referees for doing their job correctly, José Mourinho has always been the personification of fair play. As gracious in defeat as he invariably is magnanimous in victory, the Manchester United manager was understandably irritated when his club’s famously “noisy neighbours” lived up to their name by celebrating their victory at Old Trafford with actual celebrations: playing loud music, busting moves in their dressing room and creating the kind of din that can distract a manager who is busy dreaming up outlandish excuses to explain the manner in which his team have just been outplayed by their city rivals ahead of his media duties.

Sadly for José, his pleas for City to turn down that racket not only fell on deaf ears, but led to a 20-man tunnel stramash involving players and coaching staff from both teams that left Pep Guardiola’s assistant Mikel Arteta with a cut eyebrow and José dripping with semi-skimmed and looking like the money-shot from one of those “special interest” DVDs Weird Uncle Fiver sells in his XXX Bongo Shack. We’re told.

The fact Maureen didn't bring it up in his post match speaks volumes about who instigated it imo. Not that anyone with even a single brain cell couldn't work it out

Respect? Lacking respect. From his mouth.

The whole footballing world has seen his and their true colours.

It's the day that keeps on giving.

Sorry if it's been mentioned earlier in the thread but if PEG and Scholes(Sorry Carrick) think we should be a bit more humble and show respect ask them to look at the video from last season when Phil the Gurner couldn't go for his drug test and Jessielingardfromwarrington who's face was moulded in a wind tunnel we're singing their fans nursery rhymes after finding a back door route in the CL by winning the Thursday Night Checkertrade Trophy. Respect is earned, not just given unquestionably.
