I wonder what has happened to all the plaques that were on the the tunnel wall now we have a bleeding great video wall with a Nissan Juke on it in their place ?

Why exactly is that there? I can't imagine any of the players would be seen dead in a Nissan Juke.

I don't think the advert is aimed at the players tbh

True. But very few people actually see the inside of the tunnel do they? It doesn't seem a logical place for prime advertising space.

Apart from the hundreds of thousands (millions?) who watch the Tunnel Cam stuff over a season?

slightly off topic but i got there early on monday - saw everyone arrive and everyone was pleasent signing autographs and being polite - summerbee, bell, brightwell etc - well Kenny Daglish - what a horrible horrible bastad - i will say no more.

I always get a bit nervous when I'm in the same stadium as this Jonah.

I've met worsleyweb and he's not that bad actually.

Sly deliberately avoided showing it when the players were coming out. Didn't have their usual camera angle but was instead filmed from the right.

Still find it a little bit crass tbh. The tunnel is where players focus their thoughts moments before they start playing, last thing they need (IMO) is blasting with a bright advert.
Maybe I'm being too precious?
