Watching games like this just makes me hate England and Southgate. Lost 3-1 but they gave it 100% and that's the way to lose ! Well done both teams

I have said many times that there would be far, far less moaning about England results in major tournaments if Southgate didn’t serve up turgid football.

Much easier to accept not winning things when your team plays exciting, entertaining football you can be proud of.

Instead, we don’t win anything playing negative, cowardly football.

True. Huge sucker punch, however, when you consider the chances squandered moments before.

Yup. Could’ve ended 3-1 earlier or 2-2 on another day. Thoroughly enjoyed that.

Best not to think about England while watching other teams. Your sanity will thank you.

Enjoyed when Georgia’s coach made a tactical switch in the first half which improved their build up and chance creation.

Great thing about these Euros is that you get to see the tactical nous of certain coaches you normally wouldn’t.
