Hart made one save in the 1st half, then City created 5-6 chances without ever playing that well.

Liverpool had a lot of possession but did nothing with it. To say they were better in the 1st half is ridiculous

agreed mate, lots of half way stuff going nowhere

To be honest, Liverpool were the better team in the first half. They had plenty of possession and if it wasn't for Hart they would've been one up through Downing.
The possession stats at half time were 56% to 44% in city's favour
Hardly shows they had plenty of possession
In the first half they had the same attacking intent as stoke, WBA and Sunderland, they parked the bus

We played a different game than we usually would i would assune just due to tiredness we usually press high up the pitch and get the ball back yesterday we let them play in front of us and took the ball when we needed to which was just as effective.

Ok the skrtel hand ball decision, look at it this way was it any different to the ryan taylor one for newcastle, was it any different to the lescott one at chelsea, was it any different to the one in the stoke v wigan game, all three were the same incident arms out in the penalty area not looking at the ball and the ball strikes the arm, 3 out of the four incidents were penalties and bookings and in the case of the wigan player a sending off, so id like someone maybe mike jones to explain to me why it wasnt a penalty.

Craig Burley - a fellow Scot - you are a disgrace. There were TWO teams on the field last night, not just Liverpool.

Skrtel's hand ball was a penalty
Skyrtel should have had a red card( although it didn't look like he made contact with Yaya).

Skyrtel must be immune to the referees cards. He flattened Eden and there was no free kick. He assaulted Vinnie in the box a number of times - no penalties.

Adam concedes at least 4 free kicks in a row - no card. Barry nudges Aggar and gets a red. Wrong wrong wrong

Was Skyrtel's challenge on Yaya a penalty ? Don't think so but it couldn't have happened to a bigger twat than Skyrtel

The penalty was God's punishment for Skkrrtteell kicking crap out of Jo's back a couple of season's back. If yer remember we didn't even get a free kick, and I bet Jo still has the stud marks down his spine. Jones the Whistle seems to have got into his head that Yaya was going away from goal and hence no red, but why not a yellow, but if yer look at the OS highlights there is a shot from behind on the extended highlights which shows quite clearly that the ball was travelling towards the goal. Wrong Jonesy lad! And just what is it about Charlie that keeps him immune from the referee's wrath. Two bookable offences and nothing, and the first time Gazza makes a tackle out pops the card. That is partial refereeing, biased, twisted, bent and the actions of a cheat! Get it sorted PL. How Marriner wasn't allowed to ref, whether it was the Suarez or the FatFrank non-sending off and we end up with the Chester twerp, I don't know. That kind of refereeing loses teams games and shows how games are won and lost, not by the quality of football on show but by the twisting of the Laws of the Game by individuals who seem to have a personal take on how those Laws should be administered.

I said after the Sunderland game that the rag twat Burley shouldnt be allowed to precide over City games. He doesnt even try to hide his allegiance and actually gets a kick from being biased.

An example from last season -

Commentator - 'City have not won a trophy for nearly 35 years'

Five minutes later, Burley - 'How long did you say before?'

Commentator - '35 years'

Burley (laughing) - 'I know, I just wanted to hear it again'

City go 2-0 up, Alan Smith: "That's just what Liverpool need to get them going"

Unbelievable.

The commentary for our games has been unbelievably biased recently and as someone said Chuckle has been easily the most objective so far. I had the pleasure of meeting Colin Hendry on holidays last year and asked spoke to him about ESPNs covering of our games and in particular Craig Burley.
His assessment was that Burley was a limited player who knows fuck all about the game, but as long as he keeps winding fans up the bosses at ESPN are happy.

That just about sums it up for me that then

There was an incident in the first ten minutes near the touchline half way in Liverpool's half when Barry could have been booked for deliberately bringing someone down.
The ref let it go and I thought Barry was fortunate.
The ref let several others go without dishing out cards, notably two very bookable fouls from Adam and then after his third the ref called Liverpool's captain over and spoke to both him and Adam.
Now I can accept that so long as it's consistency for both teams, but the ref didn't even speak to Barry before his yellow or give him a final warning about another foul and he was off, never mind involving Kompany
