My nephew who's a talented guy has just got a small part in a TV show, just wondered anyone else on here had a cameo performance or is in one now

My only cameo was singing "feed the goat" on the 2000 end of season video. My mate was an extra playing a jockey in "Champions" and my ex father in law played a pub singer in "10 Rillington Place" both, coincidentally, featuring John Hurt.

Many moons ago I was on TV standing next to Stuart Hall in front on the Kippax for something or other. Does that count...???
Last year the BBC were filming a piece for the news by the river near here and I just kept driving past in the van, 4 times to be exact and yes....I got on the main news for a nano second.
Product placement I think they call it nowadays.

I was in one episode of Granada’s A Family At War. Age nine, I got paid £5 and got a day off school.

Was on Radio 4 in 1971 talking about what it was like to be a school kid at a modern secondary school (Hartshead in Ashton), it was demolished six years ago.

I was in a documentary about private investigating , cant for the life of me think what programme it was called, but on channel 4,i had a film crew come round with me for a day or two whilst I went about my work, very hard to stay incognito with a film crew and a lady with a big fluffy mike following you :)

oh and as we speak my Mrs is at elstree studios filming the chase with Bradley hahahaha

In a previous job in the mid 90’s, I was once interviewed live on the Six O’clock news, as first story, in relation to unemployment figures that were announced that day and basically how to improve them.

Very nervous before it kicked off, but once the lights went on I was fucking amazing. :)

Still have the video somewhere.
