Got to agree with the big bang theory. Got all five seasons, every episode is good and never gets old.

Lie to me was a grown ups version of The Mentalist. No surprises for guessing which one is still being made.

Most of the really good series have already been mentioned.

Game of Thrones is awesome

Rome was great, there was only two series of it but it's up there with the best tv ever made.

Neither are like Lie to me, but they're still worth watching.

Lie to me was a grown ups version of The Mentalist. No surprises for guessing which one is still being made.

Most of the really good series have already been mentioned.

Neither are like Lie to me, but they're still worth watching.

Friday Night Lights - basically about small town America, story revolves around a high school Football team that is the biggest thing happening in the town. Certainly not a teen drama.

West wing- political stuff from Aaron Sorkin, Martin Sheen as the president, awesome storylines.

I think so yes, the first series was enjoyable, but it takes off in the later series. As you'd expect, they are able to develop characters more than the film. (book also excellent by the way).
