I was looking forward to it coming back until I saw that. I haven't watched it in fear of it being totally shit and might just leave it and call season 2 the end.

It's worth watching if you've seen the first two. Probably best viewed as the final four episodes of the second series rather than stand alone. I was expecting the usual story set-up, mid-series meandering/twists and plotline wrap-up. I knew it was the final series so knew there wouldn't be the old cliffhanger.Yeah it's only four episodes for some bizarre reason.
