TV Series

Just finished all six seasons again. Love them to do another. Walton Goggins has said recently he’d be interested.

I'm a bit torn with that. I'd love to see more of those characters, it did have a definite finale to it though.

brilliant sketch comedy, a little dated now but Baldwin is exceptional throughout, for me it’s only bettered by the office (US), Curb your enthusiasm and it’s always sunny in Philadelphia!

Love Baldwin....only recently discovered I did though.
Curb is my number one. Larry David perhaps has a close to the bone cruelness about him, but genuinely funny. I'm behind on quite a few seasons of those (not having sky) but will catch up soon....good things to those who wait.
Sunny is brilliant too - again, huge backlog to catch up on with those too. However, I'd stick Seinfeld up with it. Tried watching it years ago but it's been aped so much (and watered down) by other comedies that it got this reputation for not being funny (as you had to spend a bit of time with it).

After my separation and pretty low year (the low year 2 years ago...not this 2020 low year) I watched this from the beginning and fell in love.
The three actors are ridiculously good (Jerry is just Jerry) and barely misses a beat (and most scenarios feel completely contemporary and relevant). Also shot in widescreen so you don't get that dated 4:3 ratio you do with many other 80's/90's shows. Incredible show.
Comedians in Cars getting Coffee is great too...I just think Jerry Seinfeld has such a great take on life and the guests add to it (Alec Baldwin has a great episode).
These shows are all massive therapy for me (as they show you you're not alone in your problems) so it would be difficult for me to criticise too much.

Goldbergs is just excellent. Anyone who was growing up in the 80s must watch it.

Will dig it out. Finished Ozark Season 2 last night...thinking of waiting a while before I crack open s3.
BTW -Mrs Maisey is incredible. I wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole were it not for the recent recommendations on here.

Tiger King...yeh...does seem to simmer down to very little...quite possible I may not even finish it.

Yeah I agree, it felt like a proper finale. They could maybe squeeze one more at a push. I like the idea of one last series of Raylan strutting his stuff. Some brilliant characters in Justified.

Give Goldbergs a watch on E4 - seven series 20 a series and only 25 mins long - hilarious.

Glad you like Maisel, it has been one of our viewing highlights of the last two years.
