TV Series

I've enjoyed it, but I wouldn't go that far. It's hardly a beginner's guide to. I still have no fucking clue what fouls are given for and not given for.
No, I don’t mean I know more and understand more but I’m enjoying it more than I could’ve ever imagined and could easily sit down on a Saturday night with a few beers, a takeaway and watch a playoff match.

Football is currently testing my patience to the limit and has been for some time.

3 episodes of The Last Dance to go and I’m getting nervous about finishing it in the same way that I used dread getting to the end of an Irvine Welsh book or City’s 2017/18 season.

Before I started watching it, I knew Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls. I knew that he was the best. I knew Magic Johnson and Larry Bird were legends and I knew Dennis Rodman was a bit wild. I knew that USA put a bunch of them together and pissed the Olympics. That’s about all I knew. Now, I could quite easily get into watching the NBA.

I am at the same point as you. I actively watched basketball, including those years, but they've still managed to keep that side of it interesting with the back and forth editing.

Overall though, i feel it is waaay too stretched out as a series. 4 episodes would have been mire than enough.

I'm not one to be impacted by TV series, especially on ITV but the "Little Boy Blue" drama was gut wrenching and tragic to watch. The drama covers the murder of Rhys Jones and how the killer and accomplices were caught.

I vaguely remember how callous Sean Mercer was and didn't show any ounce of remorse at the trial. A lot of his accomplices have since been released and have re offended.

I know what you mean about basketball, I dont mind it. ESPN who made that series have done several good films on the 30 for 30 series about basketball. One is about that Bad Boys Detroit Pistons team that features in it, another is called I Hate Christian Laetner which is brilliant, and there is a 3 parter about the rivalry between Boston and the LA Lakers. Give them a watch, I really enjoyed all of them.

Cheers. I might just do that.

3 episodes in to white lines and I’m binning it. It’s fucking shite and the lead actress is annoying as fuck. So is the twatty brother and that’s not even starting on the accents.

I found it really odd that they cast a bird with what sounds like a scouse accent to play a Manc, plus she is not a very good an actress and has a dopey face.
As for the brother, a Manc called Axel, really?

The Last Kingdom
Just finished the final episode of season 2. I had no idea it was this good.
