Mini series of 4 episodes which is 4 too many.
Probably the worst thing on TV I've watched in a long time,it started off with a fairly decent storyline but much like our recent form went to absolute shite very quickly.

Why did you carry on watching it?
I think it's been shot in 2026 but released in 2025 ...From series 3. Really good series, gutted next series isn't going to be out until 2026.

I watched The Mirror and the Light, couldnt wait for the 2nd series, only to find they are re-writing english history to fit people of colour". Quite annoying tbh. Other than that it has been brilliant, and at the same time I have been finding out about Holstein and his paintings (Including Henry 8th) and his part in Cromwellls downfall.
But the re-writing english history to change peoples colour....... I am quite sure that re-wrting black history to include whites would be wrong, so why this! wtf. Just do art, not politics.

Finished "The Confession" it's very good, I watched the real documentary on it years ago. Definitely worth a watch for those who didn't see it.
I think the same. It really turned me off The Serpent Queen too.
The rich of those days wouldn't piss on us commoners. That they weren't horribly racist is just ridiculous.

Netflix also has the Documentary of it also which is also really good.
The Penguin----8/10. Not something I'd usually watch but was surprisingly hooked. Both Colin Farrell and the female lead are excellent.
Say Nothing----9/10 so far (watched 6 episodes so will do the others next weekend). I read the book earlier this year and couldn't put it down; this is as good.
