Watched the first episode and I just can't bring myself to carry on with it, didn't capture my interest at all.
 
2 episodes into Adolescence ... not sure why the acclaim .. does it get better?
feels like emperors new clothes to me.
Actings ok but not great from the kids .... really not sure with this....

I think it's being a bit overrated too. That first episode is very good, smacks you in the face. But it fades a fare bit after that.
I wanted a court case.
Stephen Graham is stand out actor but some of the others were soap opera standard.

tried twice with peaky and still cant get past episode 1 ... must be the accent .
Love B.B in Golaith and Fargo , 2 great characters.
4 episodes into Severance and im intrigued .

We'll have to agree to disagree mate, I watched S1 of severance last year and thought it was a bit boring and a bit silly.
Nobody seems to understand what's going on, and why.

Like music it's all subjective though, I was just listing my favourites.

Totally agree - apart from mr inbetween I enjoyed all the shows you listed, a lot.

Severance just grabbed me because I found it so totally unique and bizarre.. the intrigue and the pace of it really got me. And possibly not being able to binge watch series 2 really raised my levels of excitement and expectation as i rabidly searched for answers. And I love the fact that in spite of joining in loads of random discussions about the show, no one predicted any of what came in the finale
 
Just finished Severance season 2.

I understand the premise and the storyline but really didn't enjoy this. This could easily have been finished but they've deliberately spanned this out for another season, really poor writing to be honest.

It's a line-up of ten comedians who you see all the time on UK panel shows like Cats does Countdown, Buzzcocks, Would I Lie to You? etc. so if that's not your thing you probably won't like this show.

But I personally haven't laughed so hard in a very long time. The main appeal is obviously the format; they have to make each other laugh without laughing themselves. If you laugh twice you're out.

The secondary part I found really interesting was that you got a chance to look at the group dynamics of all of these comedians who you've been watching for years, you get a little peek into their real life relationships. The moment Bob Mortimer walks in and everyone realises they've got no chance is absolute gold. Even Richard Ayoade, who you'd assume is unbreakable, is in serious trouble when Bob starts up.

If panel shows are your thing then I'd absolutely recommend it.

Agreed, it's great and the fact that even the comedians have a reverance for Bob is impressive
