TV Series

Tin star Liverpool as expected shit, I need to get away from the walking dead syndrome where I’ve started so I’ll finish.
You can fast forward a lot of it. Did the last 4 episodes in about an hour.

Adverts: Fast forward
Any bit where only 2 of the main characters are sat talking: Fast forward
If any stupid song starts playing and everyone's laughing like a Monkees interlude: Fast forward
The sub plot about the daughter and the lad she met: Fast forward (except the last scene he's in).

Has anyone managed to see The Stand on a US channel. it’s not available over here until next year. is it any good? Reviews are very mixed.
Not seen it, but as you may know, I'm currently reading the book for the first time after discussions on the "Favourite 100 Books thread".

Anyway, I notice that it's starting on the Amazon Starplayz channel in January, and there's an offer on: 99p per month for three months - offer ends 6th January. That's how I'll be watching - £2.97 seems worth the gamble, but I've got to finish the book first!

Never knew Liverpool was such a small place, amazing how people who wanted to kill each other keep bumping into each other without killing each other. Not to mention the secret hideaways a hotel, pubs, along the sea front. The mission impossible pier part and finally the ending, oh my god haha

Thoroughly ludicrous plot, however the actors were all excellent. A strange combo for sure.
