TV Series

'John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise'.

It's pretty interesting following this mass killer's story. I didn't know he'd murdered around 30 boys and buried them all around his property. Such a strange personality with polar opposites sides to him.

If serial killer crime interests you, it's well worth checking out.

It's on Peacock and available through Kodi/ Viva TV (I think).

the greatest show that hardly anyone knows about!
Only two people voted for Banshee in the BM top 100 TV shows, seething I was.

Snowpiercer

Bizarre synopsis but enjoyed the first 2.

Update,

Well it's getting good now, worth watching just for Melanie Cavill.

Just the type of person we want at City to destroy the shitty media.

The restrained, undemonstrative but still compelling Danish series The Investigation is available on the BBC iPlayer and is well-worth seeing.

It's about the murder of the journalist Kim Wall just a couple of years ago. Although the first three episodes come across as quite reserved, almost plodding, it's worth sticking with as the sheer complexity of this true life case slowly emerges, and the admirable, dogged persistence of those who became caught up in it in their quest for justice becomes apparent.

The fact that it is unsensational and all the better for it is because from what I could tell it sticks very closely indeed to what actually transpired and does not pander to audience expectations by playing up anything. By the end, I was completely won over and thought it was superb. It would have featured in my top 20 list had I seen it earlier.

Won't post the trailer as it is better to view this series without knowing anything in advance.

The only other cautionary note I want to add is that if you do know a bit more than the bare bones of what took place it might not work quite so well.

Brilliant series. Very realistic, had me in floods of tears many times. Great performance by the lead detective.
