Not in the same league as Breaking Bad, The Wire or True Detective, but then what is? Homeland's got a few flaws, but it's still a reasonably gripping watch. Season 1's better than 2, which in turn is better than 3

Its all opinions like everything else on here, and if we all liked the same things like would be dull. If it makes you feel better, i like all of those others you have listed and Homeland series 3 is a real slow burner, takes a while to get going but gets going none the less, series 4 is out next month mate, so you need to catch up.
maybe Ill try The Wire again sometime, it gets good reviews
