It’s a bit like Kamikaze pilots wearing safety headgear, no point whatsoever, they used to also take a drink of Sake wine, over the limit for drinking and flying but there was no consequence.Actually saw an interview on a chat show (probably Graham Norton)with the star of the show. She actually mentioned this point and said that's what the actual bomb disposal advisor to the show said real ones actually do. They said a helmet isn't going to protect anything if a bomb does go up so might as well take it off to be more comfortable for the upcoming process.
Started trigger point this morning , first fifteen mins they had their helmets and goggles on then off when they were at the bomb by the car , did nobody say helmets and glasses on when you are actually close to the bomb , so many plot holes , bollocks and i wanted to like it , acting shit too
I watched it on the back of Squid Game (which I enjoyed) and Last Train to Busan (which was brill!). I'll probably watch the 2nd series if they make it :)Yeah I was a bit disapointed, the first 3 episode set up well then it ditched it's set up for what was a linked but seperate 3 part story, seemed like the whole series was just setting itself up for the final scene and will tell a fuller story in season 2
Apparently a second series is under reviewYeah cancelled after one season
That sort of makes sense but the hats and goggles were made a big thing early on , dramatic effect maybe , on and off more than a prossies knickers lolActually saw an interview on a chat show (probably Graham Norton)with the star of the show. It's a tough watch, very good acting and the stories themselves are excellent, you can almost feel the humanity draining away from the police officers.Currently rewatching Unforgotten and just finished series 2, absolutely draining. Top quality TV
