TV Series

I've tried to stop watching TV series from the start and wait to see if they felt a second season and good reviews I've watched so many good ones that get cancelled and so many shit ones that keep been renewed

Anyone seen the trailer for Fortitude? Looks half decent, but then, so did the Leftovers.

Yes, looks intriguing. Must be good with Michael Gambon surely.

Is Lost worth a watch, or a waste of time?

LOST is awesome. I don’t care what anyone says.

Season 1-4 are brilliant. 5 isn’t the best as it goes a bit odd and season 6 is written to an end so at least you get answers and it has an ending. It seems a little rushed the last season but last episode is good which makes up for it.

The program starts off like a mystery drama. Turns into Mythical/Sci-fi half way through.

By the last 2 seasons though you’re not too bothered that its a bit farfetched in places as your invested in the story and the characters.

Give it a go mate.

Space 1999 - great show - could do with a 21st Centruty version of it using latest CGI technologies

Agree a reboot would be great with no space type tv shows about at the moment

The walking dead was superb, the tension has just gone up a few notches!

It really is a superb series.

You just knew something was bad was going to happen to Bob by the way they kept showing him happy with Sasha. I thought he was going to die, but I didn't expect those fuckers back so soon and chomping on his leg.

Two stand out scenes from both episodes that have made my jaw drop...

Ep1:
The Metal Tub scene.

Ep2:
End scene, eating his fucking leg, brutal.

Both really dark scenes, only comparable scene being the stand out dark moment in season 4. Like FI said, they've definitely cranked it up a notch, this show knows no boundaries!

Of all the wtf moments and there have been a few, that scene was spellbinding. I couldn't take my eyes of the screen

The casual attitude of the men doing the killing. Just a couple of blokes talking like two regular blokes at work, in contrast to the sheer fucking terror emanating from the men about to be executed was utterly compelling. Great tv, and for me it was probably the most powerful scene in the whole show so far.
