I've been a devotee of the books for many years but haven't enjoyed the TV version nearly as much

Putting Baltimore homicide detectives on the TV map long before The Wire.

It was written by the same guy who later created The Wire.

Just watched episode 1 of DCI Ray.
Felt poor after just watching S1 of Succession.

It's alright. The new one isn't as good, probably because his daughter is in it and has a permanent Michael Owen face. The miserable cow.

The stuff on Prime was great and pretty true to the books ( sorry guys a bit of a Michael Connelly fan boy with a few signed books ).
The guy who played Jerry Edgar was great but hated him in The Wire.
Thought this was a role for Sean Penn but fair play Titus got Harry nailed for me.
Not seen the new stuff, but been killing The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflicks :-)

The Hollywood Homicide detective on Amazon Prime.

For me it's one of my favourite shows, and the best cop show. Titus Welliver plays a grumpy but excellent detective.

Anyway, there's also Bosch Legacy now, also on Prime. Albeit with ads on their Freevee service. Sometimes these spin offs can be a bit naff, but this one is fantastic IMO.

Never heard of it but just watched first two episodes. Looks promising so far, thanks for posting.
