TV Series

Karl Urban (Billy Butcher) is great in at as well, but his cockney (??) accent is pretty bad. Too much of the New Zealand slips through. They should've just made his character a New Zealander.

Interestingly enough the guy who plays Homelander is also I believe from New Zealand and his "all-American" accent is spot on.
I actually liked Billy's cockerney from the beginning, it's hysterical. The whole character is a bit of shit show, and my head cannon is he learned to exaggerate it (and everything else about him) at a young age. He will have picked up more from Aussies, South African, and NZ brits in the SAS but even more when he became a mercenary (he was a merc, right? have you heard those guys?).

Then when he came to America, he changed it again, to give the Americans a clear sign they'd recognise as to what his character was all about, and incorporated some Dick Van Dyke Merry Pawpins shit. That he still uses it when he meets his dad, well, he's insulting him big time.

I didn't realise they had a spin off cartoon, and a short film about Billy between Series one and Two, apparently.

Strangely enough within the hour I`ve just downloaded the first episode and ready to watch tomorrow night.
Exactly what I did. Watched the first one last night and thought it was ok and has promise. I love time travel stuff so hoping it’s a good one.

Just finished season 2 of Yellowstone on my5 or something. Excellent.
I get season 3 tomorrow on Paramount when it launches. Free on sky
Might check out 1883

I mentioned this before on here but I don't think I got any nibbles so I'll bring it up again as it would be a shame that people might miss it.
We Crashed on apple+ tv. True story about a start up company in the states. Starring Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto.
Very good and well worth watching.

Yeah, only caught a couple of eps, so far as there's shit loads of other stuff to get through!
