Going back a few years but standard HBO quality already (with Max Richter on the soundtrack and a great cast).

Tried and failed to enjoy, possibly my generation, I’m not giving up, one of my favourite series was MASH, pure genius all round.

One of the most underrated tv shows ever made. Brilliantly written, wonderfully acted and an incredible soundtrack.

The way it captures the fragility of the human experience is, at times, absolutely stunning.

Only watched the pilot episode last night but looked highly promising (and you can tell almost immediately can't you?)
