I got told it was alright but basically the same episode eight times.
I haven’t seen it at all though so I’ll give it a go :)
Only got 8 episodes on the firestick, enjoyed them.Another JK Simmons sci-fi series - Night Sky - has been cancelled. Night Sky was fantastic IMO. The series does come to a satisfying season conclusion so don't let the fact that it's been canceled affect your decision whether or not to watch the show.
The acting from Simmons and Sissy Spacek make this easily one of my favorite sci fi series ever.

JK Simmons previously starred in the excellent sci fi series Counterpart - highly recommended.
Unfortunately, the sci fi shows that feature Simmons don't seem to appeal the the younger audience which garners more revenue. A shame. Because both Counterpart - and especially Night Sky - are both excellent series which deserved to have been renewed.
What’s it about and what’s it on?The Old Man is sublime television. Very rarely does a series grab and keep my full attention from the opening credits until the end but this one does.

I liked that is moved from just butch/homlander and hughie/Annie and gave more time in the story to MM and particulary Kimiko and frenchie.Keep with it, I’m still enjoying it. I get the point to an extent that it resets itself a bit at times but there’s still storyline progression going on, some brilliant dialogue and individual scenes.
