Got recommended Crisis the other day - anyone watched that

I am watching it,it has a hint of the saw movies about the story line
Worth a look

Cheers, haven't watched Saw movies

In Crisis they kidnap the kids of the most influential people including the presidents son and then get the parents to kill or torture other people to get the info they want in return for their kids back

The Saw movies were a very bloody version of that,if you like horror and gore the the Saw films are the ones for you lol

Didn't it get cancelled early though?

Was going to give it a chance after the first season until that happened.

New shows aired tonight...

12.Monkeys.S01E01.720p.HDTV.x264-KILLERS
The.Man.In.The.High.Castle.S01E01.Pilot.720p.WEBRiP.x264-FaiLED
Point.Of.Honor.S01E01.Pilot.720p.WEBRiP.x264-FaiLED

Read a review of the man in the high castle yesterday, sounds really interesting - basically (set in the early 60's), a take on what would have happened had the axis powers won the second world war.

Will have to check this one out I think.

'Backstrom'; a new series about a genius detective that doesn't give two f%cks about himself, but is amazing at his job... blah blah.

So, Rainn Wilson produces and stars in this and you can see he's trying immediately to erase the recent memory of the classic character 'Dwight Schrute' from existence. I like Wilson and I think he's pitched this to studio execs to have him as lead role, who may have nodded and clapped like brainless seals at the thought of this 'star' driving their show.

Good sell, Mr Wilson!

I know it's ep 1, but I think it's a mistake, for Rainn to lead, as there are so many things to juggle in this show. He does his best to be rough around the edges, but he's still too light a touch in this. Where this calls for drama with comedic touches, Wilson delivers a comedy edge with drama and it's not right. This is very rushed and is clearly trying to hit the floor running. It's old fashioned in that way, as now you expect a lead into characters and stories.

Don't get me wrong, it has potential cos all the elements are there, just not in the right doses.

Fingers crossed it picks up.

Justified started its Final Season on Tuesday in the States. Been a fantastic series, and Raylon and Boyd look set to cross paths for a final time this year. Hard to see them both making it out alive. Won't spoil the opener, but it starts the season with a bang!

Its an ok series made very watchable by Walton Goggins as Boyd. Cant see him getting out alive but think Raylon will end up with his woman and little girl leading the quiet life.

Just started American Horror Story.

Only 3 episodes into "Murder House" and I can't see how it's going to stretch to 12 episodes.

Weird though.

Some of you seem to watch every show going :/

I only watch

Walking Dead - Overrated but still decent. Predictable at times (7.5/10),
Game of Thrones -Superb. If you haven't seen it, unplug the internet and go and watch it. Now. (9.5/10)
House of Cards -and then watch this. Spacey is a joy to watch (9/10)

Not really a big show watcher tho.
Only other shows I watched religiously were Lost (9.6) and Breaking Bad (9.4)

Not everything is on at the same time, but i watch quite a few, but dont do soaps or reality TV at all, usually binge them and watch a series at a time. The ones that are current, on a mid series break or are between series but have been renewed for a new one, that i watch and would recommend to varying degrees are:

GOT
The good wife
Justified
The blacklist
The walking dead
Ray Donovan
Broadchurch
Person of interest
Suits
True Detectives
Orange is the new black
Hannibal
The Americans
House of Cards
Veep
Peaky Blinders
The Following
Scandal
Homeland
Legends

Will be watching Better Call Saul when that starts next month.
