I "celebrated" my 30th birthday with a surprise visit to krakow and Auschwitz courtesy of the then missus. Nothing says happy birthday quite like a trip to the scene of a harrowing nazi death camp.

That's some memory you have mate being able to remember all the way back to 1984 :)

Just started Boardwalk Empire - enjoying it so far.

Watched that at the time it came out.

Think it was season 2 that was boring. I can’t quite remember but for some reason they just focused on Kelly McDonalds character and you are thinking… What’s going on? I couldn’t care less about this boring women when there was so many other interesting characters and stories they should be focusing on!
Anyway the good news is they realised that and it picks up again.
Overall it was a good watch.

Another shameless plug for Alice Braga :-) but also loved the Pote and Kelly Ann characters.
