All good.watched them all back before start of latest one.
 
Can't be arsed going back through 700 odd pages to check if it's already been referenced, but 'Designated Survivor' is a brilliant series on Netflix. They're releasing new episodes weekly, every Thursday, which is a bit of a tease!
 
Just watched Fargo season 3 , the first two episodes looks good !
Also watched 13 reasons, slow start then some pretty serious stuff !!

There was a sharp drop in downloads after the first episode. It is a fail proof yard stick i have found as to a shows quality. GoT for example rose sharply, very sharply, The Flash gets steady high numbers which shows me that meets the expectations of it etc etc.

tl;dr It looks a bit shit, then again i thought the first one was shite to.
 
Finished 13 Reasons:

'Enjoyed' is a bad phrase, it was very very good, felt the suicide scene was a very difficult watch.
Disappointed nothing was 'wrapped up' - maybe that was the point, life goes on - or the cynical view is that S2 is in the works.
If there is a second season, surely it can't follow the same format, unless Hannah made more tapes...or Alex made some too and he has died?
 
For those that like there comedy a little of centre 2 shows The Detour and The Ranch, both have good one liners ,worth an episode or two to see if it hits your funny bone .

I recommended the ranch on here once. I might as well have recommended Miranda. They don't know good comedy ;)
 
Yea I watched American gods as well, not up to speed with the book it was based on so not sure of it yet .
 
Has anyone watched the handmaidens tale? it's being talked about as best tv show of the years, not give it a go yet

Just watched the first programme of American Gods. Not my usual cup of tea but I liked it. McShane was good.

I read the book (Margaret Atwood?) and thought it was excellent - mind you I am a sucker for dystopia novels - they remind me of Cheetham Hill.
