A fucking shit decision.
Hopefully another network will pick it up,but that will do Netflix no favours.
VIKINGS!!!!!
Thank Thor in the heavens that it is back but what has happened to Rolos' acting?
People blame it on Disneys new streaming channel that will probabbly ise the charactors but make them more family friendy and dull.
Once fox is aquired wouldn't mind seeing Daredevil bumped up to movie status along with D'onofrios Kingpin and put them in the same adult bracket as deadpool movies.
No movie's gonna happen with any of the TV actors.
That said, Vincent D'Onofrio is the only actor in the whole franchise with movie gravitas and he's more of a method actor now than he was.
So, that wouldn't be enough to move him to the big screen as 'Kingpin'.
But, yes, I agree when the characters are recast in a few years, it will be more family friendly and in 'The Flash' bracket of competition.
I don't think 'Jessica Jones' and 'Punisher' will survive that cull, though.
Maybe for a season more each, I think the kingpin could move over as after infinity war and now loki is getting a series, the MCU has no decent bad guys until it get's fox and Doctor Doom and such can be used.
With all that to relay to the viewer and no emotional impact. Played the younger role much better...He's a 37 year old Englishman(Clive Standen) playing a 55 year old viking masked by a French high born general facade riddled with guilt, hope, regret, and pride. Not an easy role for sure.

I watched about 15 mins, thats all i could take.It was shite.I've been watching SiFi's adaptation of GRR Martin's Nightflyers. The series seems very loosely related to the Marin novella.
I've mixed feelings about the TV episodes - they're better, IMO, than the almost universal negative reviewer sentiment - worth watching IMO.
At the same time, the TV series isn't great - not close in quality to GOTs.
Meanwhile, I've been reading the Novella - which I like quite a bit more than the TV adaptation.
Understandable.I watched about 15 mins,thats all i could take.It was shite.
Understandable.
May I instead highly recommend "Scott and Bailey"? (not currently airing so you'll need to watch it on stream or from DVDs) - awesome detective series whose protagonists are detectives in Manchester City. A bit below "The Wire" or "Game of Thrones" - but easily a top-5 favorite TV series of mine.
