TV Series

Watched it and it was ok, not fantastic but ok. Fuck knows though who is doing the camera work on the ITV dramas, looks like it was shot on a mobile phone. Thought the same about Strangers which was on before Christmas.
Dramas on ITV never seem to look as polished as stuff on the Beeb.
You mean like Eastenders ? :)

Haha no, was thinking the likes of Taboo, The ABC Murders, Bodyguard et al.
The camera on the ITV stuff seems to move about all the time like the operator has had a few sherbets. Don’t know it’s some trendy thing but really puts me off when trying to watch it.

Taboo was Brilliant, as was Peaky Blinders, Bodyguard I thought was contrived shit. Average actors trying to be great actors.

The hand held camera is a style thing, some Directors love it I just watched 7 seasons of The Shield and a lot of it was hand held, like theyd have 3 camera's in an interrogation room, flashing from one face to another, did my head in a bit, Im not that keen, but I would recommend The Shield.

I know it’s old and it’s much the same every episode but I’m into Trailer Parkboys atm. Just some good crazy bat shit tv.

Best thing to come out of Canada since the Stanley Cup and poutine. Bubbles is an absolute scream.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one disappointed with Luther.

Has anyone started escape at Dannemora yet?
Just on ep2, seems ok so far, although I'm struggling a little with hearing the dialogue, too much mumbling.

Disapointed with Luther so dug out and watched Red Riding from a few years back. How did i miss this at the time. Compelling and frustrating in equal measure.

I actually struggle a lot with TV series these days, I have to turn it up to hear the dialogue then the next scene the whole house is shaking its so loud. Constantly pumping the sound up and down seems worse on sky than Netflix
