TV Series

Season 1 of The Serpent Queen. Very good.

Mixture of period drama and quirky comedy. Well written, well acted, well directed. Smart TV.

Finished it and it left me wanting more a 7.5/10

It's a show though that needs the ending written now after say 3 maybe 4 season max! Like Rome which had 2 seasons and the ratings for those 2 seasons is very high

Just watched the last episode of season 3 and it did as you say eventually warm up. One small bone of contention in it although it's only a small one.

It would have been a better ending if they would have slipped Williams start as the King Of England.

I thought it was just me, it’s obviously suffering comparisons with GOT, & I don’t think they’ve got quite the same calibre of actor in HOTD.
I am enjoying it, but I don’t find myself as riveted, or eagerly anticipating the next episode.
The last episode certainly picked up though.
 
Just watching inside no. 9 it’s a bit hit and miss some episodes are really good but some are crap
it’s pretty dark but funny.
