I haven't so thanks for the suggestions. Will check those out. Some great shows there. Have you watched The diplomat on Netflix or Sweetpea on sky Atlantic, both very very good
Game of thrones beats it for a poor ending
Incredible story and incredible ladyAnother shout for Until I kill you thought it was brilliant and what a brave woman in real life to go through all that.
It also showed episodes 2,3,4 and 5 mate that you need to catch up on, from Thursday it’s episode 6.Watched the first episode of the jackal, seems ok so will stick with it. The diplomat on Netflix is very good
Whilst not perfect and with some tentative and some brilliant moments of tying it all together, the overall ending of 'The Penguin' was superb!!
I'd love to know what others thought about the show as a whole.
Personally, I can't see how Farrell won't win best actor come awards season. He's as good in the show as he was in the film.
Going to binge it at the weekend , not sure it will be the same without anne bolyn and henry but hoping it is goodEpisode 1 of wolf hall - the mirror and the light. Totally utterly brilliant. It really captures the essence of Hillary Mantell’s superb novel. Writing production and acting as good as it gets. 10/10.
True.....but hands down has the worst ending in the history of TV , nothing comes close to being so bad ;)
Maybe something will happen in this series....It's flawed by me but 'Silo' returns next week, for those that like the show.
Im pretty sure Henry will go the distance second season...Going to binge it at the weekend , not sure it will be the same without anne bolyn and henry but hoping it is good
Watched first episode of Shetland...hopefully will be as good as previous series.Watched E1 of Jackal & will continue with it (though every time I’ve ever watched the film I’ve always been gutted by the ending, hoping he would succeed). This new series looks fabulous on the screen.
Looking forward to Silo S2 starting on Friday too.
Enjoyed the Irish series Black Water, and have started with the new Shetland also.
Would also recommend Those That Kill on BBC4. All four series have been excellent.
Yeah there is always one at some point who forgets to engage brain and ruin it for everyoneNote to self. If about to watch a new series, do not go into this thread!
