'Margo's Got Money Troubles'

Honestly wasn't sure about this show when I read the premise (I don't usually do so), but apart from the obvious morality in a later episode it's, surprisingly, good. Outside of ep one, the writing picks up and settles itself into a nice flow in dealing with the modern female.

Up to ep four and with the odd rapid eye blinking scene from the excellent Elle Fanning, the scene stealing Michelle Pfeiffer and the wonderful glue of Nick Offerman, the series might be quite the hit for older adults.

Might be a one and done series, though. Who knows? Generally impressive so far.

Murder Line on ITV will Minnie Driver is pretty good. 6 episodes and well cast and nicely written. Set on the border between USA and Canada it rattles along nicely as a crime story with some nice humorous touches.

Unchosen. Promising start, first half very watchable. Second half absolute shite. Descends into a farce. Chasm sized plot holes, piss poor attempts to partly explain away why obvious things dont happen so they can carry on the farce, but they only do it half the time. Not worth the watch.

Well, I wish I'd never given series 2 of 'Beef' a chance! Totally fell off a cliff compared to the first series of brinksmanship! Mostly genius, that first one!

Really don't know what they were attempting in this one.

Why is tv so fucking wank at the moment? Absolutely nothing on Netflix, started a few on HBO but not sure if they're going to be any good. Took to watching old stuff again.
The only good thing is 'waiting for the out' on bbc. One good programme bobbing along in a sea of shite.
