TV Series

In between waiting for the next The Night of i've gone for some funnies.

Parks and Recreation - 1st season - pretty shit if im honest, 2nd season started much, much better.
Wasted - Absolutely funny as fuck, comedy on the lines of Uncle and Fresh Meat (when it was good).
Fleabag - 3 episodes not decided.

Has anyone been watching this show? Made by HBO, writers from the Wire and is brilliant. Think it starts on Sky Atlantic pretty soon. Finale episode is next week and 1.45 hours long.

Definitely worth a watch!

wow thanks for sharing that, somehow I managed to miss an HBO show for once!!

just finished catching up and can't wait for the season finale this Sunday!

Sense 8 is finally on it's way back and the first episode of season 2 should be on Netlix by Christmas. They've recast Capheus with rumours that the actor had a problem with trans-gendered people. Which would be a bit fucking stupid considering the shows creators are both trans-gendered.
I can't fucking wait for this to return.

Just finished season 3 of Penny Dreadful. A bit sad there won't be any more and not sure where to get my Eva Green fix.

Stranger Things i have to say i loved it from start to finish.

Just found out that they will hopefully do a second series as well cant wait.

Brilliant series, and a top soundtrack to boot. Well recommended.

I watched the first episode but was unsure, that might have more to do with how pissed I was though. Have you watched Sense 8?

Nah, not seen it. Any good?

Utterly brilliant as long as you're not in any way squeamish when it comes to men gratuitously bumming each other. There are some pretty heavy gay sex scenes in it, but it doesn't detract from the show. Google it.

Stony peddling his bummingfest again, theres a shock. Sense8 was good if not great, glad its got a second series to see where they take it.

Stranger things was the best 'shock' series this year, got very little build up prior to release but word of mouth has made it a huge hit, again its got a second series.

One I am really looking forward to, think its out early next year is The Deuce, its a look at life in New York City during the 1970s and '80s when porn and prostitution were rampant in Manhattan, HBO series written/developed by David Simon, the bloke who brought us the wire and Treme. James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal star however there are a lot of actors who were in the wire as well, in an excellent supporting cast. Has a lot to live up to but hopefully it will.

Has anyone seen 'Power'? i had it recommended to me by a lad and the idea sounds good, but it needs to be well acted, if the main character can't show emotion well it will be a crap show.
