Yup I remember that, probably about 200 pages ago on this thread, we agreed then and we do now. If the series is going to continue, and there is every chance that it will, then they would have been better off showing the end of Escobar about half way through this series and then setting up the next series in the remainder of this one.

Colombians arent happy that a Brazilian, who in their eyes could barely speak Spanish, played Escobar.

I wouldn't know the difference between a Portuguese or Spanish accent so fuck them putas (:...

Good idea about integrating the next phase of the show, missed a trick there...

I thought it started to become hard work from about episode 4. They could easily have got the lot into one series of 12. I've actually not gone back to it yet after ploughing through 8 episodes. Shame really as like you say, the book 'Killing Pablo' is an intense read from start to finish.

I agree. They've really stretched it way too far for my liking. I'll still wade through it though.

Its good to see more saying what I did about Narcos, I was the only one on the thread about it, everyone else was loving it, I thought I was being a miserable twat, well more miserable than usual, in any case.

I thought the lazy cunts could have dubbed it.....proper old school as well, like The Flashing Blade......or Robinson Crusoe! Two of the greatest dubbed programmes of all time. Too much trendy subtitles bollocks going on right now.

Get in the bin you lot moaning about Narcos!! loving season two although it can be agreed that it all could of been one series of about 15 episodes. Worth remembering though series 1 is set through a number of years isn't it? Series two is over less than a year so can see how this feels abit dragged out. I have 2 episodes left

Tbf stony, you have form for watching things for all of 5 minutes.... I'd currently put this show in the zimmer top 5,outstanding and progressively better each year, an easy 9.4/10!!

I actually watched the entire first series and when it came on again I couldn't be arsed with it. I was a bit curious when you said ELO was in it the other week, but it wasn't enough to bring me back.
I'm going to start Narcos again in a few days. If I still can't get into it i'll abuse @TCIB for recommending it.

You have to grow to love the characters in Ray donavon, that means giving it time... How anyone couldn't love Mickey is beyond me, he's brilliant IMO!!
