Just watched the first episode of Westworld.
Really good and on a far deeper level than the film which I decided to re watch only yesterday.
Has really different spin on the whole story, much darker. Looking forward to more.

Watched the Amanda Knox documentary, didnt really add much to the story people didnt know already. Was quite interesting though. The journalist , Nick Pisa, comes across as a right prick. 6/10
Couldn't believe that prick was laughing and getting quite excited recalling the events.
A girl died ffs! I thought it in bad taste that in the end credits there was no mention of Meredith or her family.
The head cop too - what an utter buffoon, he thought he was Sherlock fucking Holmes!
Shit at his job is what I'd call him.
I don't believe for one moment Amanda killed her. As the evidence proved.

Technically belongs in the "Documentary" thread but if you've watched/enjoyed Narcos see if you can hunt down a documentary made by an Argentinian filmmaker called Sins Of My Father. It's basically the story of Pablo's son and his wife as told by them, through their own archive photos and videos, and the stories of two Colombian politicians he had assassinated prior to his own death as told through the eyes of their two sons. It's the real life version of what happened in Narcos and it's fucking excellent.

I wish it would of gone into Knoxs back story a bit more, had she shown any tendencies in the past to be manipulative of people or to be into any of the sex games they accused her of? It didn't mention anything so im assuming no, would of been good to clarify though.
I dont think she or her fella were involved at all, was just a small time police force trying to appear competent infront of the worlds media.

It's a decent watch, although politically motivated due to the embargo on the Escobar family in general...

Finally finished Narcos S2, and happy for it to end there if required. Don't find the Cali cartel as interesting a proposition, especially after doing some further reading on them, Murphy and Pena.

Not bad (Westworld) could go either way but i enjoyed it more for what it can be in coming shows, could be very good indeed if they play it right.
